Crystals are not these hard, dead rocks - they are dynamic, developing, growing, unfolding their own existence.
A still photograph is perfect in that sense because it freezes a moment in time, and in these images there is a real feeling that after the shutter closed, the crystals rushed on, forwards, fast, and the pictures were lucky shots.
