I put it into a lapidary tumbler but to my great surprise, this amber was full of life!There were insects, ants, spiders, crabs and all manner of life forms trapped forever inside their timeless amber world - together with air and water bubbles from their time.True wonderworlds of amber! A still photograph is perfect in that sense because it freezes a moment in time, and in these images there is a real feeling that after the shutter closed, the crystals rushed on, forwards, fast, and the pictures were lucky shots.
